NeuroTown - a Game with ChatGPT AI
A game prototype using ChatGPT AI for gameplay !
You have just arrived in a city, and you are looking for your friend. The problem is that nobody in this city speaks your language ! With the help of your super translator, ChatGPT AI, communicate with the people of the city to find your friend ! Explore this city and talk to these quirky inhabitants in this prototype game running on ChatGPT.
The NPCs (non-player characters) in this world speak through ChatGPT. To progress in the game, you must absolutely communicate with them ! The game uses OpenAI's / ChatGPT API to make the PNGs talk.

Play in Demo mode to test the game without needing to configure anything. Warning ! The demo is highly limited as each request made to the ChatGPT API is chargeable. With your contributions, the demo can continue to exist and become less restricted so that everyone can enjoy the prototype =)

The game doesn't recognize my API key. Maybe because I have GPT-4, but you may want to look into it if multiple people are having the same issue.
I'm sorry for this. I ran my tests only on the GPT-3 API key, and I didn't consider there might be a difference or specific requirements for people using GPT-4. I'll try and see what I can do to resolve this issue.

I found Valou, in the Demo, He was the second person i talked to, what a coincidence. I asked for their name, and he said, "I am Valou"
You were very lucky ! But you haven't come across the right Valou. The right Valou is in a house. Yes I know I shouldn't have put a second Valou =(

when you enter the correct api key, the inscription "invalid key" still pops up
It's strange, I tested and the api key seem to be working.
It's possible that the ChatGPT service might not work for a short period, could the issue be from there? Trying again now might solve it (or unfortunately, the service might still not be working).
Otherwise, when you entered the OpenAI/ChatGPT key, was it in this format? Did you press Enter after entering the key?
In case, there's a demo mode (extremely limited) that allows you to test the game.
